 A working journalist with an experience of more than 20-years, was chief reporter of Kerala kaumudi daily, leading Malayalam daily published from Trivandrum with a remarkable history of 108 years. Recently resigned from the job to dedicate more time in public activities.

Born in 1965 at Payyoli village, Kozhikode district, Kerala where Olympian P.T.Usha also born, kailasanthan graduated in 1985 (BSc ) and completed a diploma in cooperation in 1986. After 15 years of social work with traveling extensively every nook and corner of kerala , in 2000 he statrted a career in journalism, took a post-graduate diploma in journalism from Bharatiya vidya Bhuvan, school of journalism. As a journalist, he made the number of stories in development journalism, rural development and finance fields. Now settled in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala.
